1 As a result of the Administrative Arrangements Order ( AAO) that took effect on 18 September 2013, some responsibilities of the former Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and some responsibilities of the former Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education combined to form the Department of Education.
